On 5 November 2024, Miklós Sebők participated as an invited speaker at the Festival of Hungarian Science organised by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA). The event was titled Science and Parliament: the Social Impact of Artificial Intelligence. Among other researchers from HUN-REN Centre for Social Sciences, Miklós Sebők commented the paper "AI Strategy '24'08 - Opportunities and Threats" by Professor György Cserey, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Bionics at Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
